What the job is

You meet property agents across Nairobi, in person, and bring the serious ones onto Afriqahome.

Afriqahome is a marketplace: agents list, buyers search for free. Your job has three parts — find the agents worth having, stay with them until their first listing is live and getting inquiries, and build the room where the serious ones meet: a monthly session you host, quarterly events with outside speakers, hands-on listing clinics. Over a year, that room is what makes Afriqahome part of this market rather than another website in it.

What you would do

• Meet agents where they work — Kilimani, Kileleshwa, Lavington, sites, viewings
• Walk a new agent through signup and their first listing on the spot
• Host the monthly agent session — invitation only, and you decide who comes back
• Explain verification straight: optional, paid, and worth it precisely because it costs something
• Report back on what you see in the market, including what is not working

What we are looking for

• You know Nairobi and can move around it every day
• You are comfortable starting conversations with strangers
• You can hold a room of fifteen experienced agents
• You can tell a serious agent from a time-waster, and you say so
• English and Kiswahili

If you sell property yourself, we would especially like to hear from you — you know this market better than anyone we could bring in from outside. Two things, said now rather than at offer stage: you would stop taking new mandates while you hold this role, and we check EARB registration against the gazetted register.

The details

Full time, based in Nairobi, starting September 2026. Three-month probation. Field work — this is not a desk job. Salary plus commission on agents who activate, verify and keep paying.
